History of The Comforter’s Hope Welfare Association (TCH)
The Comforter’s Hope Welfare Association was founded 27 years ago by the late Mr Jonah and his wife Pastor Esther Jonah, whose lifelong passion has been to serve those in need. As educators, they witnessed firsthand the challenges underprivileged children face, particularly in accessing education and a safe, nurturing environment. Her vision was to create a haven where orphans, children and single mothers from disadvantaged families, and the elderly could find refuge, support, and hope.
Their commitment grew into The Comforter’s Hope (TCH), a home and learning center that embodies her belief in love, education, and care for the vulnerable. Her journey from educator to founder and, ultimately, Pastor at Soaring Eagles Nest reflects her dedication to uplifting lives and spreading hope.
TCH was officially registered as a charity with the Registrar of Society in 2016, with approval granted in September 2017. Over the years, it has expanded its reach and impact, providing holistic care for its residents.
